Members of our community can offset their own activities safe in the knowledge that they are making a positive contribution to sustainability by directly reducing William & Mary’s carbon footprint.

What do you want to offset?
If you want to calculate your own offset, follow these steps:
- Estimate the MT CO2 equivalent of your activity. There are many sites that will help you with this estimation including carbonfund.org and terrapass.com
- Multiply the estimated MT CO2e by 79. This gives you the dollar amount that it would take to offset your activity through the Carbon Offset program.
- Please enter this value in the price field above and write in the activity that you are offsetting.
